Problem solving, communication, collaboration and critical thinking skills are a key 21st Century competency, and we know that mastering mathematics opens doors to many careers.

Faculty Mission Statement

The Mathematics Faculty believes that everyone can improve their skills in Maths. We know that mathematics - and numeracy skills generally - are essential to a successful life, and a solid foundation for many careers. While we recognise that mathematics can be a difficult pursuit, the discipline, structure and focus required to succeed builds valuable critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Improving your understanding of mathematics takes resilience and effort. Being successful in mathematics is an intrinsically rewarding experience.

HPGE Opportunities

Maths and Milo

Maths and Milo tutoring is provided by Maths Faculty members with the assistance of Year 10 tutors and pre-service teachers from 8 am in F Block. Students should bring their homework or study. No booking required. Attendance on 5 occasions earns a commendation for effort.
