Production Technology Pathways Application

With recent COVID-19 health legislations in place, changes have needed to occur in regard to the process of auditions for 2022. These changes could include video submission and/or online live components. Details of changes will be communicated to applicants as part of the audition process.

HSPA Production Technology Pathways (PTP)

As well as dance, drama and music, HSPA offers a pathway for Stage 6 students interested in the technical production side of the entertainment industry.

Year 10 into 11 students - To apply for the Production Technology Pathways (PTP), after completing the online application for Secondary students, submit a 2-minute video to the link below which addresses and demonstrates the following:

  • Your interest in the field of production technology
  • Your aspirations post school
  • Your existing skills in the field/s of production technology
Audition Submission:
Auditions must be submitted as an Unlisted YouTube link using this Audition Submission form by Friday, 13 August 2021. 

Performing Arts Curriculum:
If made an offer of placement at our school it is our understanding that you acknowledge and accept our performing arts curriculum. It is the strong expectation that new Year 9-11 students will follow through with their auditioned performing arts subject until Year 12.

Audition Criteria

The following marking criteria will be used to determine successful applicants for PTP.

Please note: The term 'Production Fields' is a reference to specific areas of Technical Production. Your application should reflect your ability, experience and passion in one or more of the following production fields. If successful, your Stage 6 Pathway will be customised to suit your specific areas of interest.

·       Animation (2D and/or 3D)
