Building Update

It is wonderful to see the shape of our new performing arts facilities taking shape at the rear of the school. Construction of the new dance and drama studio structures is now complete and complements the main gymnasium structure.

The installation of cladding to the dance and drama rooms has begun and internal finishing works are also underway, including painting and installing wall and ceiling linings. You may also have noticed the external cladding is almost finished on the gymnasium.

From my last site walk it’s exciting to see the progress! Over the next couple of months, we can expect to see these finishing works completed as well as the internal fit outs with all the fixtures and fittings that go with these great new spaces.

Work will also begin on construction of the new games court at the rear of the new building. As we near the end of the year, notifications for demolition of the bini shell will be issued to our neighbours and school community. Stay tuned!
