Year 7 and 9 Language classes had the opportunity to take part in the Hunter Language Teachers' Network 'Last Word' film competition.
The task was to create a two minute film in the target language they study using the theme of 'a change' and the signature item 'a plant'.
Alice Redpath and Anna Stewart's film 'Pick Up Your Rubbish' won two awards, Best Chinese film and Best Stage 4 film.
Lucy Lewis, Francesca Dobbie, Lily Greg and Eliza Weissen won the award for 'Best Italian film' with their entry, 'Nights in Rome'.

Coreena Allen, Language Officer (Languages NSW) visited HSPA on Friday to formally congratulate the winners and to present them with certificates.
