Thank you Mr Brown for taking our students to the World Skills Competition. It sounds like a fantastic and valuable experience for our students. Mr Brown gave the following update:
We had a great day at the Regional World Skills Competition today, held at Callaghan College Jesmond. Our seven competitors had to produce three courses in 4 hours in very warm conditions!
It was a very challenging task and all are to be commended for an outstanding effort!
In the end, Michayla McDougall placed second! A great result considering our late enrolment in the event and backing up after both catering and a competency event this week to boot!
They were great ambassadors for the school.
The other competitors were:
Briahna McMahon
Ruby Page
Matthew Pedder
Ella Nicod
Lucy Middleton
Cailey McMullen
