HSPA has the opportunity to host a Chinese student from Greater Beijing High School in Term 3 from Sunday 28 July to Saturday 3 August. Twenty high school students ranging from 12 to 14 years of age, a group leader and a teacher will be visiting our school on a cultural and school exchange. We are seeking families who would be willingly to host an overseas visitor, either a student or adult from this group.
Last year HSPA successfully hosted Chinese students from Beijing Tongzhou Yucai Middle School. Students and parents were so positive about this experience and appreciated the reciprocal cultural exchange.
This opportunity provides students, parents and the whole school community with many benefits including developing intercultural understanding, establishing friendships and gaining new perspectives on the way we live.
Hosting families will receive a payment of $258 to assist with expenses.
