We offer a unique learning experience to students who are passionate about pursuing their chosen performing art. Our mission is to provide a nurturing and challenging environment that encourages each student to explore and discover their full potential academically, personally, and across the performing arts while instilling a life-long love of learning.
We strive to achieve academic excellence in all traditional curriculum areas to complement our students' artistic abilities. In addition, our wellbeing, sporting, and cultural programs offer a well-rounded and holistic education for all of our students.
At HSPA, students can look forward to a variety of unique experiences through the performing arts. Our music ensembles and marching band provide opportunities for world travel and unforgettable experiences. Our drama program offers national opportunities for students to showcase and expand their skills. Our competitive dance program offers exceptional expert coaching and teaching. Our technology and production programs offer industry aligned and supported opportunities, preparing students exceptionally well for life beyond our gates. Students also participate in our weekly REACH program, which aims to develop their skills and facilitate their overall growth.
As the only public-school campus in the state of NSW that is 100% selective, we are proud to have high performing and gifted students from Year 3 to Year 12 in our school. Our students have achieved remarkable success by both external measures and all performance areas, making us a highly regarded institution within the community and across the state. Our school colours and uniform are recognisable and admired wherever our students represent our school.
