Enormous congratulations to our newly elected Junior AECG (Aboriginal Education Consultative Group) Student Executive Team!

Jnr AECG Membership is open to both First Nations and Non-First Nations students. The JAECG committee is a platform that gives students a voice and agency within their school community. Supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students’ voices, having their ideas and opinions considered, establishes a student’s sense of belonging, positive relationships with teachers and peers and acknowledges their diverse and unique cultural identity. The JAECG collaborating with the school community is a consultative process which allows for stronger representation of First Nations Cultures throughout the school environment.
We’ve got exciting initiatives and plans ahead of us, so watch this space!
