Notes and Money

Notes & Money

Occasionally throughout the year children are required to bring permission notes and money to school for excursions, events, performances, fundraising, etc. Most of these notes will be communicated and completed online using online payment as outlined below.

Permission notes are sent home via email and occasionally with students in paper form. Details of events and additional copies of notes can be found in the events section of the school website. All upcoming events can be found in the Primary Calendar on the website and a list is also included in the primary newsletter each week for your reference.  This is a good place to check especially if your child has been absent from school. Newsletters are emailed home to all parents and students every Friday and can also be found on the school website.

Students are not permitted to attend excursions or participate in certain events without a signed permission note. Students should not contact their parents on the day of an excursion seeking ‘last-minute permission’ as staff require time to consult, plan for and to make any appropriate safety or learning adjustments and to communicate this with all teacher supervisors, particularly regarding medical needs.

Payments can be made in the following ways:

  • Cash/Cheque: Notes and money should be placed in the black letterboxes outside the primary classrooms. These are emptied by our administration staff each morning. Cheques should be made payable to Hunter School of the Performing Arts.
  • EFTPOS: EFTPOS facilities are available at the Administration Office.
  • Online payment: Online payments are accepted via our school website. Please note online payments take up to 2 days to be processed.
