Overview
The Creative Industries stream at HSPA offers an unparalleled opportunity for students to specialise in technical production, design, and creative media within a truly industry-standard environment. As the only fully selective performing arts school in NSW with such comprehensive facilities, HSPA provides direct access to a professional theatre, fully equipped recording studios, high-end multimedia labs, and purpose-built creative workshops.
Students gain hands-on experience by working in a production capacity across a wide range of large-scale events — from musicals and concerts to exhibitions and live broadcasts — ensuring that every learning experience is authentic and aligned with industry practice. Guided by highly skilled teachers and mentored by industry professionals, students refine their technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and collaborative skills while building a portfolio that reflects real-world achievement.
Throughout the program, students will also earn industry and tertiary-accredited digital credentials that formally recognise their skills and experience, enhancing their future education and employment pathways.
