The following is an overview of the key digital information and communication resources provided by HSPA
Please note: At HSPA, we value the balance between work and personal time for our staff and families. As part of our commitment to wellbeing, we have set clear guidelines for digital communication. Please remember that our staff, as per Department of Education policy, will not be expected to respond to non-emergency communications outside of school hours, ensuring they have time to recharge and focus on providing the best educational experience for our students.

- School website: the first point of reference for all general information. If an item is not found, see below options then contact the school if information still not available. Our website ‘search’ function works very well, enter keywords to find specific resources.
- School Website App - Get push notifications to your phone for upcoming events and news items. iOS App. Android App.
- Events and Calendar: on the website contain details of all upcoming events.
- News Items: on the website contain images and comprehensive reviews of events which have recently occurred
- Primary newsletter Dress Circle: published and emailed to students and parents weekly and contains all information on what has happened during the week and what is coming up. A MUST read for all students and parents.
- Email: For inquiries requiring teacher/executive input on specific students, please use the email addresses found in ‘Contact Us’, ‘Executive Team’ or ‘Our Faculties’ this way emails are forwarded to appropriate staff and will be responded to asap.
- Google Meet Staff Directory: For video conferencing with teacher. Used for Parent teacher meeting evenings, or contact the teacher to arrange a time to meet via Google Meet any time
- Sentral Parent Portal: for administration enquiries including student reports, attendance, timetables. Visit Technology Access page for access instructions.
- Sentral Portal App: download and install the Parent Portal mobile app to submit student absence notes and view student admin information
- Schoolbytes Parent App : download the app and be able to give permission and pay for excursions, view Statement of Accounts and make payments
- Canvas Parent: to see education specific items eg. task due dates, grades and teacher feedback for individual students. Refer to Canvas Access page for access instructions. Please check the notification instructions to ensure that your Canvas notifications are customised for you.
- Facebook: join the HSPA Facebook group for regular updates of good news items. Usually mirrors Instagram information
