Hunter High School Rock Band Expose

Held Annually on Friday Week 4 Term 4

Hunter School of the Performing Arts hosted an open day for up-and-coming rock bands from high schools in the Hunter Region, the prizes awarded included:

• professionally recorded single courtesy of Sawtooth Studios - CHOP (HSPA)
• promotional interviews with Newcastle Live - All bands were provided the opportunity to advertise with Newcastle Live
• professional gigs courtesy of EAO were offered to all bands
• gift vouchers for Jack's Music Lambton were awarded to - Keyboard: Dylan Ratcliffe (HSPA), Bass: Noah Powell (WBHS), Drums: Sam Robinson, Guitar: Leo Fleming (HSPA), Original Song: Boycott (HSPA)
• vocal coaching with Vocal Compass were awarded to - Elipsis (Newcastle HS)

To enter Bandwidth 2019:

1. Complete all sections of the application form and read instructions carefully
2. Ask your teacher to email your completed application form to darren.ponman1@det.nsw.edu.au
3. Upload your application video here - Production quality does not matter, as long as the panel can hear the music. Should be a 1 min video of your band performing, can be a web link or .mp4
