Hunter High School Rock Band Expose
Held Annually on Friday Week 5 Term 4
Hunter School of the Performing Arts hosted an open day for up-and-coming rock bands from high schools in the Hunter Region, the prizes awarded included:
- professionally recorded single courtesy of Sawtooth Studios - Misadventure (HSPA)
- promotional interviews with Newcastle Live - All bands were provided the opportunity to advertise with Newcastle Live
- professional gigs courtesy of EAO were offered to - The Apricots (Belmont/Lambton HS), Best Kept Secret (Muswellbrook HS), Misadventure (HSPA), Elipsis (Newcastle HS), Tomohauk (Toronto HS), Romani Experience (Warners Bay HS)
- gift vouchers for Jack's Music Lambton were awarded to - Keyboard: Romani Experience (WBHS), Bass: Romani Experience (WBHS), Drums: Lucid Lane (HSPA), Guitar: The Apricots (Belmont/ Lambton HS), Original Song: Elipsis (NHS)
- vocal health lessons with Vocal Compass were awarded to - Elipsis (Newcastle HS)
